This is probably a total noob Question, but still I nee To ask.

I did a HD-Install with 0.71 ( okay it's older, but I just had ist.)

And then I got some *.dsl packages from the web with the help of a friend. The PC I'm tryin DSL on isn't connected to the web.

Now I just want to know howto install these *.dsl packages......

I already figured some tool mysdsl-load but it didn't seem to do anything.

Please help.

Did you try to start emel-fm? In this application you can mark your dsl-file (just click once on it) and then you can click on the button: MyDSL. This will install/unpack the files. To run your newly installed program, find it in the menu of fluxbox or look for the new icon on your desktop...

good luck

I would strongly recommend to get the latest version. If you machine is truly isolinux challenged then I would suggest 0.7.3. Using anything earlier than 0.7.3 and the myDSL extensions will only cause confusion.

Until now it works quite fine even with Gimp-2.0 and I'm starting to to upgrade some stuff.
