Hi!

I want to install DSL on my USB-memory.
What do i need?
How?

I Found some info how to make one from DSL.
But do i have to use a cd to run DSL to install it on a USB?

Two ways:

1) Boot from the CD and go to the Right-Click menu item.

I believe that the menu item is Apps -> Tools -> Install to USB pen drive

Its somewhere in there.

2) For additional help, push the "Search" button at the top of this page and search for "USB AND bootable", search "ALL FORUMS" and "FROM THE BEGINNING OR NEWER".

Since your title was how to do this using Windows XP, you can look at Getting Started->On CD documentation->DSL_on_USB.html
There is described syslinux.exe which can be run from Windows XP.

If you can boot from the cdrom it is easier to use the built in script from the main menu Apps->Tools->Install to USB Pendrive.
