DSL comes with xtdesk, which places a number of icons for programs on the desktop. If I want to add more of the DSL apps to the desktop as icons... where do I get the icon files themselves from? I have figured out how to configure xtdesk now, but don't know where to get more icon files from. Is there a library of these somewhere, or do I have to go find the source rpm for each one to get an icon file (they are .gif files, I think). Any and all help appreciated! Thanks!

I don't know where John got his icons from , but there are a wide selection of prettier (subjective) ones at
< http://www.gentoo.org/dyn/icons.xml >

They are fairly easy to edit/replace. The trick is to take time adjusting the X Y coords or they jiggle all over the desktop.
I should add I don't use icons as I prefer to edit the menu instead :laugh:
