Hi,
I want to put DSL on my 486 Laptop, but it hasn't got a cd-rom drive.
Is it possible to do with a network connection?

If you can somehow copy the KNOPPIX/KNOPPIX file from the DSL CD to the laptop's hard drive over the network, then yes, it is possible. After that you just boot from a floppy and it loads the KNOPPIX image from the HD instead.

Get some one-floppy linux with nfs or samba support and download the KNOPPIX/KNOPPIX to FAT32 Partion :-)
