Hi all!This mini how to special for...myself! So i must not recommence every time to try and search it again.... - start computer - goto bash (APPS -> SHELLS -> BASH) - in bash type the following commands * sudo su * (you must be root to do this) nano /home/damnsmall/.fluxbox/menu afther reboot you're computer Here you can edit and if you want this translate the menu I use this to manage the system for kids. So the can't do anything i don't want (config etc...) You can also add some programs in the menu with this method That's "ALL" BE WARNED ! I'm not a linux guru... Damn Small Linux also has Scite, and I edit my menu in that:sudo su to root in a terminal, and #scite /home/damnsmall/.fluxbox/menu You can also see my examples here on how to add some items to the menu: < http://www.angelfire.com/ms/telegram/fluxbox_menu_4 > There you will find dial and hangup for wvdial, MozillaFirebird for those that have installed it, and don't want to use the icons (covers up your wallpaper), and floppy mount/unmount. ----- |
