Hmm... Could be a few things I guess. Is your bios set to boot from the cdrom first? Also when you burned the cd, did you use an option such as "burn image"? Just trying to get rid of some of the more obvious explanations. Beyond that can you give anymore detail?

Try the disk on a different computer to see if it works.

You need to make sure that your computer BIOS has the CDROM boot priority set to higher than the hard drive boot priority.

Some CD-RW disks do not work well with some computers.  Try re-burning it as a CD-R disk.

My advice is to use Nero to do the burning.  Exit all Nero Express wizards to get back to the old Nero screen.

If using Nero 5.x, choose

File -> Burn Image

from the top menu.

For Nero 6.x, choose

Recorder -> Burn image

from the top menu.

If your computer does not support booting from a CDROM drive, you will need to create a DSL boot floppy disk:

To make sure you have a good burn use:
BurnCDCC program  (iso file)  [burner is so ez a 65 year old can use it.] (FreeWare) google it for the DL. use the Read verify but not the fix close option. A slower burn speed than your burner helps to get a better CD
