With the new DSL the icons only take one click to activate. Is there any way to change it back to two click? I like to arrange the icons on my desktop for looks. Also, to make them easier to use. Thank you for any time & trouble.

I asked this when 1.5 first came out.  < Here's the unfortunate response. >

--EDIT--

Oh yeah, if you want to move the icons, you can now right click on them to edit the properties.  Also, if you want the icons to stay put on reboot then open ~/.xtdesktop/xtdeskrc and change Cols to 0.

I assume that you can copy the xtdesk application from an older version of DSL and copy it over for use with the newer version and it will work just fine.

In fact, if someone is more adventurous they could make a myDSL extension with the older xtdesk inside.

That would be a really good idea. I like to customize the look of my desktop. Don't like my icons all bunched up.
