Hello. It's my first post here.

I have an old cyrix P166+ processor with 40MB ram and a 1.2GB HDD so it took me forever to find a linux that worked. Thank you so much for making a nice OS that works on my pc. I did a HDD install but have some issues that I need addressing so far:

1. booting takes a long time, it always shows that green loading bar.
2. It always loads a webpage at the startup. How do I stop this and how do I make dsl remember my destop settings?
3. I tried to put my usb pen drive in and open the files but I found no way of getting to them. I don't even think it recognises the pen drive which is odd because dsl recognised my USB mouse.
4.  So then I burnt the files to a CDRW and put it in the CD drive. I tried to access the CD drive but I found no way of doing this so I couldn't see the files.
5. I don't understand how to navigate through the windows explorer.

Thanks.

ps - I have some requests... can you please remove the card games and put on some better games, can you make it easier to navigate through windows explorer, can you not include many programs that do the same thing - you have 3 text editors, why? (I prefer beaver the most). Thanks.
