What I would like to do is:

1)Boot off a USB Pen Drive with DSL (Done)

2)Mount an NTFS partition

3)Edit the registry within the NTFS partition
(Just add/subtract a registry key)

Is this possible with DSL?

No. DSL can not write to ntfs partitions.

Is there a special file needed to make DSL write to NTFS partitions?
