I have 2 models of HP deskjet printers an 840 and an 895 c/se. I tried all the drivers that pointed to my models but they came up with errors. I found a plain jane driver "hp/deskjet"
during setup and found that it worked well for both.
Just a lil' FYI for anyone who wants to install an HP printer.

hi, at this moment i'm trying to install my girlfriends deskjet 690c. but the gs-driver isn't compiled.

so where can i find this deskjet-driver you mentioned?

Hi.

The 560C driver works for the 690C
(my father has his going). Thinks it's
in driver option 4 or 5 (gimpprint ---).
