Mono in DSL

I'm not very well aware of how DSL works and how to install different apps to it so for give me my stupid questions. I tried to search the forum for mono related issues, didn't find any so I decided to post the question.

I'm very keen to get the mono < http://www.mono-project.com/Main_Page > to run on DSL. My goal is simply to get the < http://www.majestic12.co.uk > Linux mono client to run on USB memory or CD with little or no need to touch the configs at all.

So what would be the easiest way to install mono to DSL running on USB or CD? All help is higly appreciated.
