I have install edthe GTK2.dsl and NVU and NVU starts, but as soon as I open a file or attempt to open one it "crashes" shuts down. Any ideas or something I can check?

Using DSL 2.3RC liveCD 256 MB ram on an IBM laptop T22

which gtk2 do you have installed? you said "GTK2.dsl"...is that gtk2-0705.dsl or an earlier version?

Did you activate your gtk2.dsl from the Main menu?

chagger and mikshaw I have it. I had gtk2-0705.dsl on my USB pen drive. It may have gotten corrupt, because when I downloaded a new GTK the menu showed up and I updated and NVU worked fine. :-) Now I only have to fix my screen. I installed a USB infared mouse and changed the screen settings and it looks bad. Is there a log file for previous screen settings so I can see what it was before?
