Has anyone tried adding enough OpenGL support to DSL to allow OpenGL applications to be used? I know this would require GLX, specific gfx drivers, etc. But it sure would be nice to run some 3D applications. Blender is a full-fledged free 3D modeler/animator and only takes up about 8 MB.

It's fairly easy to do once XFree86.dsl is installed, and even better if you have nvidia gpuYou can run Blender in DSL without adding OpenGL...just download the static version and extract it somewhere. All done. There is also a Blender myDSL extension available, which was built from the static blender release. |
