Is there an easy way to install gnome-ppp on DSL.  I burned a copy of SLAX and see it as a module so I could use my modem on my laptop.  I would rather use DSL, if I can get a few apps to work.
Gnome-ppp for a good frontend to configure modem (DSL detects to modem :-) )
Wine- to run Dragon naturally Speaking
Working on a new printer, since Lexmark x2350 doesn't work.

Thanks for all the help, I love DSL, fast, low resources and just a little help.

I thought PPP configuration was already available in DSL, in the Panel.

And Wine is available as a .uci extension, though I wish they'd make a normal .dsl version.

Yea, I believe its in the DSL Panel.

Side note:
Why would you want it as a .dsl ? (its the "worst" type of extension)  Personally I prefer .uci's.

Have you tried any of the unc extensions of wine?  The unc extension gives you the best of both the uci (low ram footprint) and the dsl (integrated into filesystem) extensions.  There should be a fairly recent version of wine in the testing repository.
