is there currently a limit to how many apps dsl can load up? i tried to load up quake 2 but it gave an invalid tar magic error. i was using a 512mb pendirve for dsl. would this get full for trying to load up the apps themselves or does dsl extract the apps? help

That's probably due to your system running out of memory if the download was valid.I'm guessing you got this error while trying to mydsl-load it? How much RAM (and swap) do you have? |
