I used torsmo on 3.1 or 3.2 and it was "colorful"  Now it is just white on 3.3

I opened the .torsmorc file and changed the text to red.

Anyone know how I can make the "bars" a different color?

You can edit the colors in the defaults section (first section in .torsmorc) or add them individually below in the TEXT section.

To change to individual colors from the default in TEXT, you would change $color to ${color whatevercolor}, using whatever colors you want (using color names, #html codes, etc.).

You can also find various torsmorc ideas from its website as well as by searching Google.

I have some screenshots that show how I have it set up on my computer:

That's pretty much what I've stuck with aside from changing colors to match backgrounds and GTK themes (you can search the other screenshots listed under pages). I can post my torsmorc if you want it.

Hmm, I thought I had a shot where I was still using artwiz snap as the font. Oh well. I couldn't get it to line up right so I went with one of the smaller defaults. Ahh, found some uptime shots with it:
