Posted by jhsu on Oct. 02 2007,02:30How do I back up my email messages AND the filters? I have the emails in a separate directory under the dsl directory called Mail. I'm not exactly sure where the filters and other settings get saved. I'd like to save both the messages AND the settings in ONE directory for easy backup and restoration.

Posted by curaga on Oct. 02 2007,17:18I think it uses the $HOME var to decide the location, so not too easily movable.
Though, to me it looks it's already in a convenient place? It's right next to Mail, in the same directory..
Posted by jhsu on Oct. 03 2007,02:11Actually, the "Mail" directory is under /home/dsl/jhsu .
The .sylpheed directory is under /home/dsl
How do I move the .sylpheed directory to /home/dsl/jhsu?
Posted by curaga on Oct. 03 2007,18:35Just move it and make /home/dsl/.sylpheed a symlink to it?
Or add "/home/dsl/.sylpheed" to .filetool..
