How do I back up my email messages AND the filters?  I have the emails in a separate directory under the dsl directory called Mail.  I'm not exactly sure where the filters and other settings get saved.  I'd like to save both the messages AND the settings in ONE directory for easy backup and restoration.

Is there a way I can move the .sylpheed directory to another location and thus make it more convenient to back up?

I think it uses the $HOME var to decide the location, so not too easily movable.

Though, to me it looks it's already in a convenient place? It's right next to Mail, in the same directory..

Actually, the "Mail" directory is under /home/dsl/jhsu .

The .sylpheed directory is under /home/dsl

How do I move the .sylpheed directory to /home/dsl/jhsu?

Just move it and make /home/dsl/.sylpheed a symlink to it?

Or add "/home/dsl/.sylpheed" to .filetool..
