does anyone knows if gphone, which is included in the base dsl system, is compatible with other, more modern, programs?

legalize cannabis, coke, ero.

It's pretty broken; a while back I tried it in my lan both between two gphones and gphone + speak-freely. Gphone crashed in both times; it can't even call to itself. I highly doubt it would be able to call SIP apps like Ekiga. Also it's sourceforge site has gone down (files are still there though, last update in 2000)
