I want to get connect to irc. Specifically this server. The one by default doesn't get connected to. It says something about a socket error. The one I want to connect to is called irc.redmondlinux.org port 6667. Should all's I have to do is type /connect irc.redmondlinux.org? This should work right.

nickxydas , try "/server bla.bla.bla port"
i still cant figure out why sometime cant connect to server ... need to check it again :laugh:

How about this... '/connect name server port'
If you do a '/save' it will generate a ~/.nircrc which you can edit to your pleasure.
