Hey everyone,

I've ran TuxNES on both desktops with crts and laptops.
I always run into a problem with the screen not refreshing.
I see the characters moving but the backgroun doesn't scroll.
If I pause the game, I see where I am supposed to move,
but if I unpause, the screen just goes back to some jumbled
sets of previous screens.

I've noticed this problem on several machines.
I've determined its the ROM file and not TuxNES.
Please let me know if you have gotten Sack of flour working, I'd like to know how.  Nothing urgent, it just bugs me that I
can't get it to work properly.

have yiu tried running Tuxnes without a rom.
there are options and settings you can play with, maybe this will help

Yes I have tried all the settings I can think of.
Other Roms seem to work fine, so I think its
the rom itself.

I've even downloaded other versions of the rom, but
that didn't help either.

still no resolution to this?

I just had a chance to test it under DOS and it works fine.  Better than under linux at least.  Screen scrolls fine.  I think the emulator is the problem, or the combo of the emulator with the rom.

tuxnes seems to me to be rather a waste of space.
it could easily be replaced with some of the games in the dsl repository, some of them are tiny and much better, they don't use 100% proccessor and they are fun.
