hello,

i wanted to know if the monkey web server is here to replace apache? (i couldn't find any web site talking about monkey) what is his rule?

thanks for help or infos you will give me...

PS: this question, cause i can't install apache on DSL, there's problems with dependencies (apache-common and perl) maybe monkey is the reason... or is it a problem of version (stable / testing / unstable)?

Has anyone gotten DSL to run apache?

Please help me find a small distro (slow 28.8 connection) that runs apache, and will not accidently put this noob in a place where I would have to lose my WinXP partition. I just want an apache/PHP/mySQL/email server environment to test/edit php scripts with without using the Windows apache installers like Fox/PHPtriad that are severely handicapped with many PHP scripts. Any ideas? Is DSL the one? Thanks
