Has anyone tried installing WINE on DSL? Is it possible? If so, then how? I'm a DSL/Linux newbie intrigued with the possiblity of running Windows apps on linux, i.e. without the need for the Windows operating system.

I think you are expecting too much from a micro distro such as DSL.

John must be stunned by what some people are trying to do with his baby :)

Lol, true - weather stations, running it on 486s... it's amazing what people can modify (well, more like bend a little) a distro to do!
