I've using Firefox 3 or 4 weeks without problems
Now after trying hd-installing and returning to live cd everytime I want to use Firefox this is what I obtain:
-------------------------------------------
dsl@box:/opt/firefox$ ./firefox

Gdk-WARNING **: locale not supported by C library
/opt/firefox/run-mozilla.sh: line 451:   818 Bus error               "$prog" ${1+"$@"}
dsl@box:/opt/firefox$
---------------------------------------
If I run live cd in raw mode without loading any .dsl and then install my .uci firefox and ff.tar.gz It works!! I've not added any new .dsl application I've tried too installing firefox.dsl but it does not work at all with same message.......

Hi,

Can't make Firefox work after HD install...

Every time I try I get these messages:

INTERNAL ERROR on browser end: No manager for initializing factory?

System error::? No such file or directory

What went wrong?

Gui :
The firefox.uci ALREADY has the ff.tar.gz built into it.
That's the difference between the older .ci and the newer .uci
is the addition of the user files.

The ff.tar.gz was designed to work ONLY with the firefox.ci,
which has been superceded with the firefox.uci ..

Oh, well, I simply wanted to stop using Opera due to its lack of plug-in support. I've since downloaded (and successfully installed, by the way) the Firefox Preview Release. So far, so good... :D

The latest firefox, 1.0PR patched, is also available in the testing area..
I've setup all the symlinks for flash and java to work seamlessly..
Use the jre-1_5_0 with the FireFox 1.0PR (0.10.1 )
The jre-1_5_0 is also in the testing area of the repository..

LiveCD, frugal, poorman's , or HDInstall..
You CAN have it all..
