What does the error message 'no space on device' mean on the boot screen when dsl attempts to load someapp.tar.gz or someapp.dsl?

I couldn't be out of RAM ...?

Sounds like that could be the case.

If I were you, I would research the topic on how to create a swap partition or a swap file.  Or buy some more RAM memory.

i think this means you have to small /ramdisk
or the *.tar.gz extracts to /
