every time I try to start tuxracer or mplayer i get this error:
: error while loading shared libraries: libGL.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

i searched on apt-get.org for this and i couldn't find it
am i doing anything wrong?

libGL is used for 3D video acceleration that is not supported by the DSL XWindows servers.  So you will continue to get this message.  Hopefully, the program still works well enough for your liking.

If you really want to use full 3d acceleration you could replace the DSL Xwindows servers with the full-blown XFree86 ones.

Search the forums for keyword "XFree86" if you want more information.

Also, I believe that there is a working version of MPlayer in the myDSL repository testing area. Give it a try.
