DSL is sweet and I will use it in the future--it was the first distro that was 95% on for me and it was a joy to work with. So I want to use AXftp as my ftp client in Xandros. It is such a simple to use ftp client. How do I download it from the DSL mini-CD? Any tips on using it? And does anyone know what it depends on? I have turned nothing up on other searches here. Thanks... Vince Panero Posted by littlepenguin on Nov. 29 2004,04:07 Since Xandros is based on Debian, use apt-get. Do an apt-get install axftp, and if that doesn't work, google axftp, dl the source and compile it. If you are using Firefox as your browser, I would recommend downloading the FireFTP extention, I don't use any other ftp clients since using it. It's so easy to set up. |
