Hi!

How can you save to floppy in DSL for individual documents that you might make in abiword or bluefosh or what
ever?

Simple but I really dont know! thanks again!

Yes.

Insert the floppy into the drive.

Use the Mount.app in the lower right corner of the desktop. Make sure that the floppy (fd0) status is green.

Then save your file to:

/mnt/auto/floppy

Good Luck.

I am assuming that your floppy disk is not full and the write-protect tab is not enabled on the disk itself.

You can run pathetic writer as user root by opening up an xterminal window and type:

sudo pw

Hopefully then you can save the files.

Your best way to figure this out is to open this file in a text editor:

/home/dsl/.fluxbox/menu

and find your favority program name.  The command name will be displayed on the same line.

Just make sure that you don't accidentally delete this file, overwrite it, or scramble it up because then your Fluxbox "Start Menu" won't work anymore.
