how do i get firefox to open on startup insteadof dillo...

ive spent ages trying adding different commands to the .xinitrc and bootlocal.sh or whatever they're really called.

please help me....

there we go, no probs now, it was

firefox &

but i wasnt putting it before the fluxbox command ....!!! :laugh:

.xinitrc is the right way to go.

Just replace the "dillo -f" with "/usr/local/bin/firefox/firefox" and save the file.

Now the important part is that you need to backup your changed file and then restore it upon bootup (unless you are running from a full hd install).

Read the documentation on the backup/restore process, or search the forums for keyword

filetool.lst

and search ALL FORUMS and FROM THE BEGINNING or NEWER
