what spreadsheets are available for dsl ?i'm looking for something that would need little resources (oo.org doesn't) and could be used by a user as excel replacement (basic spreadsheets, simple formulas & excel compatibility) - abs was not exactly for novice users. it also would be nice if this app would be easy to install on dsl ;) Posted by SaidinUnleashed on May 03 2005,16:59
We haven't used ABS in a very long time.Almost 8 months. maybe longer. Siag works very well for most everything you will need a spreadsheet for. -J.P. Posted by richlv on May 05 2005,06:34
thanks, i'll try it out.package siag-office.dsl, right ? Posted by Guest on May 06 2005,18:00
You should have Siag on your desktop already, as it is included with all dsl iso releases since 0.9.By itself, you will not be able to plot. But if you install the extension "gnuplot.tar.gz" and then start siag off the XShell terminal using "export PATH=/opt/gnuplot/bin:$PATH ; siag &" you might just get lucky. |
