I was wondering what text editor would be best to use if I also need to be able to read it on a Windows machine in Notepad. I prefer using text editors as opposed to more full featured programs. Thanks in advance for any solutions.

anything.

notpad is M$'s pathetic attempt at making an editor, and should be able to read anything created with any of DSL's available editors (pico, vim, beaver, scite, etc)

Beaver will work just fine.

Use the Tools -> Conversions -> UNIX TO DOS

function and your file should work fine in Notepad.

OR, use Wordpad instead of Notepad and no conversion is required.
