I've got PXELinux running and I can boot to DSL over it using the Linux24 and minirt24.gz. What I want to do is use DSL as a tool for cleaning virus's off Windows systems. How do I install clam or F-prot into the gz. I'm new at Linux and I can see a real use of it in cleaning up the Ms mess.

Wont work...due to the fact that DSL cannot "WRITE" to NTFS...if it tries to modify an NTFS drive it will bork the hell out of it

< Ultimate Boot CD > is a linux variant that has tons upon tons of system utilities but also fails in the fact it cant "WRITE" to NTFS drives

There is a side project for it called < UBCD4Win > that is actually a LiveCD version of Windows XP or 2003 that is capable of "WRITING" to NTFS but you have to build the iso yourselft (due to licensing stuff) but with the scripts and howtos make is a 20 min job!!! With the modules and stuff people have been submitting I'm sure there are antivirus packages you can add to the iso to clean anything...plus imagine a full 100% (no-system files locked) defrag!

Check it out im sure you wont be dissapointed!
