Hello All,

You are invited to join in a global celebration of Free and Open Source Software!  We are planning a global happening on August 28th this year to inform the public about the wonderful world of FOSS. We will form local teams to arrange lectures and demos and set up displays in public places to hand out printed materials and CDs with FOSS. This is a distributed marketing campaign. See: < SoftwareFreedomDay.org > for details. There may already be a team in your area that you can join, or you may want to start one.

Best wishes,

   Henrik

Thanks Henrik for the post...hmmm, got me really thinking. ???
I know this would be great project to get involved with. I checked out the site and so far seems there's nobody from Toronto signed up yet.
Time and inexperience at the moment are my biggest obstacles.

Sincerely,
Desire
