I'm posting from mandrake move, which I'm trying for the first time, running it on a P4 1600Mhz, 256 Ram, and I have to say it looks very good.
But I'm just wondering..as in mandrake move site I didn't seem to read any note about knoppix or about knoppix-like distros, do any of you guys know whether the boot up process is brand new or is copied from Knoppix? it works well and, nedless to say,it's very neat and elegant, as mandrake usually is.
it's definetively a very luxury-like desktop, kind of OS X.
(I know many people don't like mandrake, and I know why. I just keep away from ideologic wars and use what I need/like, and this product is quite complete and easy to use on a powerfull pc)
bye
