Hello everybody!
I'm a French guy, I'm fond of DamnSmall (is the best for old computers), and I wanna know if I am the only French in DSL forum...

French (or Belgians, and others) users, I wanna talk with you (in French, of course) about Damn Small Linux!

Thanks for replies!

I am sure that there are French users of DSL out there.

However, if French mini-LiveCD users are your cup of tea, you might want to check out the Flonix distribution.  I believe that the developers are French.

I have not used Flonix, so I cannot vouch for the software or for the support.  Plenty of French speaking users, though.

Thanks for reply,

I have already tasted Flonix, a french linux mini-distro based on DamnSmall.

There is just a problem; Flonix is not GPL anymore. And in my opinion, DSL is better

But Flonix was great : can put it on a USB key, there was Icewm, lots of good ideas..... it's sad.

Of course, now with DSL version 0.7.1 you can install it on a USB key and use the USB boot image. You can also download the icewm DSL extension if you prefer.
