Anyone have any experience with audio chat/conference software for small groups (5-10 people)?

I'm trying to stay away from "commercial" solutions if possible.

Looks like lots of colleges are using scripts to run rat & vat but just wanted to check if anyone here also has any ideas.

Full duplex would be great, but even half-duplex would probably do.

Teamspeak2 works great, if you have someone with a fast connection for the server.

And it's free to use, both for windows and Linux.

Teamspeak2 does look pretty promising.  I'll give that a shot.

Same with TS.

It gets crazy with 30 people in a single game of UT2K4 Onslaught mode screaming at each other.

Or 70+ in farcry,
