Dumb question of the day:

- running DSL 0.7.1 in memory via "toram" option
- loading OpenOffice via .ci extension

OpenOffice shared TrueType fonts directory is "/ramdisk/opt/shared/fonts/truetype".

If this directory is in the ramdisk, can it be made writable? I've tried to do so via "sudo emelfm" and changing permissions, but it remains read-only.

If the directory was writable, one could add TrueType fonts for increased compatibility with M$ users.

Not a dumb question. This is good feedback. It is feedback like this from the power users that will continue to make the extensions better. That directory needs to be moved into oouser.tar.gz. I will fix that and post an update when I have it ready.

Oh, wow, that would be majorly awesome and appreciated, but can the directory be moved? I've looked over the user-modifiable settings in OpenOffice and didn't see an option to change the directory from where it gets its TrueType fonts.

Many, many thanks for looking into this.
