As the developer of Feather, I've created an extension that allows XFree86 to be used - available at < ftp://ftp.berlios.de/pub/featherlinux/extra/xfree86.tar.bz2 >
Perhaps someone in the DSL community would like to convert it to a .dsl to help people with DSL as well?

i would, but i don't think i have the skill to do something like that, i would probably put it on my hdinstalled damnsmalllinux machine if sumwun did it.
