I'm sorry if this has been covered before but I could not find the info here in forum...
can someone add the *.dsl files on the cd (either in root on knoppix directory) and have them loaded automatically when the cd is loaded? Without an extra command line at startup would be preferable. If so please include a little instructions... If not consider this a request for the next version of dsl!

I want to add gftp, gaim, xchat, pan and put into a ubcd remaster I've made to include the best darn mini live linux cd available online.
P.S. thanks for including firefox!!!

You are kidding.  This was the original design of the extensions and has been that way since v0.7.3.
