Hi, I've been reading and searching through the forum, and I couldn't find a clue on how to do this.

I'm looking to make a DSL cd, that has certain .dsl extensions already installed.

In < 3.c - Making A Custom MyDSL cdrom >, it says that mkmydsl will prompt for the location of extensions that one would like installed.

Not only I did not get the prompt, also when I looked at the script, there's no indication that such extensions are to be installed or anything.

I mean, I guess I could put the source .dsl files into the CD to be mastered before creating the ISOs, but then I'd have to install them everytime i boot, and that's no fun.

Any ideas on how to make a DSL cd with the .DSL extensions already deployed?

thanks

hehehe,
Ok so I figured out that if the .dsl and tar.gz are in the root of the CDROM, they get automatically installed at boot, with no boot options required.
I guess would work. I'm trying it right now.

Please someone correct me if there's other ways to do this, other than the boot options. mydsl=sdax

You can also open up the Emelfm file manager and highlight an extension file and then push the MyDSL button inside the file manager window.
