The 2.4 kernel series is nice and all but I notice a huge speed improvement on my 32mb ram machine with a customized ck kernel.  I do believe this has more to do with the kernel setup itself more than it just being "customized."

Anyways, I was wondering if .dsl have any support for auto-running a script when being installed.  I could setup a quick generic 2.6 kernel and have it auto-add to lilo (as default even with the 2.4 kernel as a backup) if you guys can point me in the right direction (and test it for me).

BTW, would it be against the rules to have a ck kernel and not a vanilla one for this .dsl? ;)

Cheers,
dbn

Rules? What rules?
You can do anything you want, as long as it's possible and/or legal. That's the beauty of open source.

Well my idea was for this to be an official .dsl file in the repository.  I was just wondering their preference.  (If they haven't tried the ck patchset then I suggest they do ;))
