When I tried to submit my ZSNES 1.42 and Bugsquish extensions through the extensions at damnsmalllinux dot org e-mail address, nothing happened.  What do I need in order for my extensions to appear in the DSL repository?

They won't appear automatically.  All extensions are handled by one guy (ke4nt).  As far as I know, he checks out all of them before uploading to the reposity, making sure file permissions and ownership are properly set, and that the archives contain no malicious evilness.

Can my text files be in DOS format?

If you mean the info file, then it should be okay.  Any text included within the package (such as a wrapper or other script) is likely to fail if it's not in Unix format.

I am nearing completion of having my backlog of extensions uploaded.
Included are your two..

The .info files I received are fine as-is.
Sometimes, using another OS adds line feeds, which adds little
characters to every line and whitespace. Please avoid..

Much activity with pre-release testing, preparation for LinuxWorld-SF,
and redo-ing all the gtk2 apps and base recently..
