This is a forum thread specifically about USB booting DSL, so a topic post 'trouble booting' 'USB boot problem' etc is just silly. Sheesh!!

well I cant even read the specific error because it scrolls so fast. what else should I put?

Now, I'm not being facetious here, but press the 'Pause' button. You may have to do it a few times to get the timing right, but it's a low tech way to get info. If you can get it to boot in any one of the many, many configurations, do that, and read the logs.

However... That doesn't negate the observations that half the posts in the USB Boot forum are titled 'Boot problem,' 'USB problem,' or 'USB boot problem.' If you're posting here, it's about a USB Boot problem... nuff said!

It's not so much that it bugs me, but that you get more, and better help when you're clear about what you're asking. The guys who know stuff, and are willing to offer advice, like me persevering with this silliness, are much more likely to read a thread they know falls within their baileywick, than scan every post from everyone who didn't read FAQ.
