Hi DSL guys,

I am very new to linux. DSL is my first try. Can you please let me know whether it is possible to install DSL in external HDD with 4 partion. 3 are FAT 32 and 1 is FAT.

Will DSL boot if i install in the FAT partion. My BIOS has USB boot option.

Thanks,
Sajith

You can do a "Poorman's install" to a FAT or FAT32 partition.

You will still need a livecd/usbkey/bootfloppy in order to boot it up, though.

Search the forum and wiki for more information.
