Hello,
I have a Q-TEC 751H USB 2.0 HDD case 2.5" and a HD Segate-ST91420AG-1441.9MB.
Please give me instructions how to make the Q-TEC/Segate to boot DSL (no windows partition).

Thanks,
Elias

set the bios to boot from the usb drive.  boot into dsl form cd(or whatever u boot from currently) and install to the hd just like any other drive(during installation be sure to select the right drive to install to).

Yes... and the USB drive is usually located somewhere like /dev/sda instead of an internal IDE drive located at /dev/hda , for example
