I downloaded parted.dsl to my usb drive, and im running the iso from the cd. how do i mount the usb drive? or does DSL detect it automatically?

Plug in the drive.

Wait 20-30 seconds to make sure that it is detected.

Open emelfm file manager.

Navigate to the /mnt folder

Right-click on the "sda1" and choose MOUNT from the menu.

Highlight the parted.dsl file (single-click).

Press the MYDSL button inside the emelfm window.

Sweeet. I got it..... i love DSL, I had Win XP on my 333 AMD processor with 128mb ram. Ran like crap.. too many taken resources. Thanks guys, for helping me out, and this is the best OS i have ever used.
