The program says that it formats the drive and put DSL on it; but nothing happens...
Isn't there another way to install it? perhaps by copying the files to the usb-device?!?

Please supply details. What drive? How are you installing? What is the current configuration of the drive in question? What type of install are you trying to do?

how long did you wait? mine took a while because it was analysing and partitioning the drive... leave it for 15 minutes and come back after watching some tv....

Hmmm... I waited about 10 min's... Maybe I'dd have to wait longer...
I've tried both USB-zip and USB-HDD installation; what do you mean with configuration, and what drive? -It's a JetFlash 128MJF2A or som'thing like it...

Use the USB HDD install, and wait until you get a message in the terminal that it's finished and you can exit. That still doesn't mean that your computer's BIOS will allow boot from a USB drive.

I think my computer does that already... When I start up my cpu starts reading my usb-drive automatically, looking for an operating system...
