Hi, I tried to install DSL on my Pen Drive (a Creative Mp3 reader - 256 mb) using the procedure
in the Live cD Apps.
Everything sounds to go in the right way, but when I reboot the pc does not start from the usb drive.
I checked the Bios, and there are 1.CDrom, 2.USB, 3.HardDisc

Moreover when I started windows, after a few minutes it tells me the usb device is not formatted.
But it works perfectly as Mp3 reader without the pc, I found that very strange.

Thank You for helping me, and sorry me for my English.

If the order in the bios is 1 cdrom 2 usb..change the order to 1 usb 2 cdrom..then boot...hope that helps

I tried following your suggestion, but it didn't work.
I tried also installing DSL to my pen drive from win with this procedure
< http://damnsmalllinux.org/cgi-bin....t=15467 >

but nothing more appends... when I boot the usb turn on (red led is on) but nothing... the pc scan for cd and then boot the hd.

I can tell more that in my bios I read the usb device is called USB-FDD: that thas it mean ?

thank you very much
