Posted by nedit on Nov. 10 2006,16:10I made my Viking 512Mb USB 2.0 drive into a bootable DSL, and it works just great. I also use it at work but using the *.bat to boot it up within Windows.
Can anyone tell me how to configure DSL/knoppix so that I can add more packages and configure the boot script to enable cups, samba automatically etc.
I'd also like to be able to add a directory with some of my favourite mp3's in so that I can play them from within DSL when I travel on business.
Posted by Donut Zeke on Nov. 29 2006,00:23I tried to do this, but for some strange reason, I get an error when I try to use the dsl-windows.bat file to boot it. It is just an error report thing, but it gets to uncompressing Linux first. Any help would be appreciated.
