i dont know if anyone has a computer with a intell845 motherboard and got  the linux booting from the usb drives or not but if they have and knows how to make it work if they would post  i would apreciate the help even just a link to the required bios update as seeing i can not find it even on the intel web page its self

There shouldn't be any issues with that particular chipset. You should check with the manufacturer of your computer to see if they have any BIOS updates -- I really don't think you'll need one, though, and you can use the boot floppy if your current BIOS doesn't support booting from USB. Have you tried the instructions from the wiki?
