Hi.

Apologies if I post this here but I couldn't find a better forum.

I have a (hopefully easy) problem installing DSL in my USB pen driver.

I am following the DSL Wiki directives to perform the installation. Hence when I have to run syslinux I just get an error in the command line.

Command: "syslinux F:" [F is my USB driver]

Error: "Reading boot section: The parameter is incorrect."

I have any idea of how to resolve this. I tried to search for a solution in different forums but I ain't luck.

I do appreciate if someone can help me.

have you tried to install to usb-pen using the menus on the live cd?

the wiki "Installing to a USB Flash Drive" section should really remind users of this.

to be honest, no. I'll try with that. hope that'll resolve my issue.
